Any plug-ins preceded with "PY" are Python plug-ins and will require the appropriate Python installations in order to be used in GIMP. A very good tutorial for installing Python on GIMP can be found here.

Filenames followed by an asterisk (*) indicates it is for WINDOWS only. Check the GIMP Registry for the Linux versions.
